nicknoyes: Spirit of the Lion This is a piece of art that I bought today. It’s a lion’s head composed of 2 rabbits facing each other. In Tanzania (Africa?) there’s a belief that if you breath in the last breath of a Lion, you can steal his strength or spirit, and then you will be strong and live a long life. As Chui, the artist, explained it to me, the meaning here is that you must be quick and tricky like a rabbit in order to steal the strength of a Lion.
